Now more than ever, we can find the time to go make-up free and give our skin all the love and nutrients it needs! Today I’m sharing my go-to skincare tools – and routine for using them. I really believe, with much trial and error, that exfoliating is the key to vibrant, glowing skin. We must encourage cell turnover and create new, healthy, bright skin cells. How many times do we spend money on serums, mists and other costly items and feel like they don’t make a difference? Well, if you feel that way, take a good look at your routine and ask yourself, “What am I doing to exfoliate?” I do my best to accomplish exfoliation at home by dermaplaning once a week with my TINKLE, and using my Clarisonic. On the nights/mornings I’m not doing that, I use Beauty Counter’s Overnight Resurfacing Peel. After exfoliation, the GloPRO is my swear-by tool that helps make sure all the products I’m investing in are actually penetrating my skin. It’s essentially a little micro/nano needling tool to use at home and I use it once or twice a week. I often get asked if I’ve had fillers in my cheeks – and I have not. I strive to use collagen boosting products/tools and I believe the GloPRO aids in just that.
It’s true, beauty comes from within. Last week, I had the pleasure of digging into some of my favorite magazines while on vacation. I came across this recipe from SHAPE Magazine for a GLOW Smoothie (click photo above). We can put all our efforts into what apply to our face, but true radiant skin begins on the inside! This Vitamin C heavy smoothie method is also great for boosting our immune system – another useful tool these days! GET READY TO GLOW!
