Wild Berry (Breaking-Your-Fast) Smoothie
I’m careful not to completely refer to this as a “breakfast smoothie” because I normally have this around noon when I’m breaking a fast from the day before. It JAM PACKED full of everything your body needs to have a boost of energy, mental clarity and make it until the next meal – or beyond. Place all of these ingredients in your blender and add water if you desire a thinner consistency.
½ cup frozen wild blueberries
½ cup frozen raspberries
½ cup to 1 cup frozen spinach
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (your choice)
2 T chia seeds (optional)
1 T MCT oil (optional)
Cover completely with unsweetened vanilla coconut milk or water!
